A Wonderous Tuesday

So I managed to wake up today at 7am. It was good and I wasn't late to CJ. I ran to the library and printed lots of stuff (free printing w00t)and then ran there to CJ after grabbing breakfast.

Professor Lawlor was talking about the midterm and how it would be handed back thursday, then for the rest of class, all he did was skim through the next chapter about entrapment, insanity and other affirmative defenses. It was quite entertaining and now I am hoping for a not-so-bad grade on the midterm, just because its worth like 25% of my grade and if I do bad on it, I may fail.

Then I ran off to English and handed in my paper. I was also handed back additional papers from Professor Asmus. Well then we all went over the poetry we read for today and we were handed play tickets to Old Man and the Sea and on a later date to Death of a Salesman for an extra credit play review. Yes we get free tickets to see plays at Yale and Long Wharf Theater, its covered by the class when you enroll and its extra credit and like the professor said, it’s a cheap date, because not all tickets on every one of the dates are taken and it is quite possible to get 2 tickets for one play on one night.

After that I ran off to biology and I actually paid attention and didn't fall asleep today. Anyways, professor did questions, gave me a question about 'Why do people twitch' then he made a lecture on muscles and all about them.  It was a very nice class, I liked it very much.

Then it was a nice little break. I chilled until my 1:30 appointment with Becca Kitchell at ORL to discuss my rejected RA application. So I went to it and boy was I shocked at the reasons why I didn't make it...

Either way, I now know what I may have to do to improve myself and my first impressions for other people. Hopefully next year when I reapply to be an RA, I will have all the experience and lessons learned to better myself and earn that position. So I took a nap and then I ran off to FSCC.

FSCC was talking about the Bodies trip we have already planned and in the works.  We also talked about other planned events. Anyways, after that I ran off to chemistry class.

Chemistry was interesting as usual. We learned more about gas laws and the professor was nice and let us out like 20 minutes early today. Yay Professor! So I had time to run to Bartels, take a seat and do homework until my lab. Then it was lab.

Lab was boring, I'd say. We had to evolve oxygen from a compound mix through some crazy apparatus that also involved a Bunsen burner. We had to work in big groups and I was in a group of 5 people with 2 girls and 3 guys including me. However it wasn’t boring all the way. We had to do two trials of our oxygen evolution experiment and we ended up doing it 4 times. That is what happens when you don’t follow instructions; you end up blowing up a test tube because it was clamped too tightly and under the Bunsen burner and then you miss the water level, letting the flask get empty. Yep, that’s chem. Lab.

After Chemistry Lab, I ran to get food and ended up getting Sandellas. They messed up on my bowl by putting in ranch instead of Brazillian dressing and I ended up getting another one for free. I gave it to my roommate as I ate my correctly made bowl. It was quite delicious.. Then after a while, I ran off to the gym and worked out, came back, showered, did math homework and then fell asleeeep..
