Happy St. Patrick's Day!

It's about 12:30 and I've not yet begun to celebrate for the actual day, but on Sunday I headed to downtown New Haven for the parade. It was madness, and I loved every second of it! Some of my friends from UNH didn't even go home yet for spring break so that they could stay for the parade. It was such a good time, a couple of my friends from home came with me and we dressed all in green for the day, matching just about everyone else who was there. Another successful parade day, I can't wait for next year!

Spring break really did come just in time. I'm catching up on some much needed sleep and relaxing knowing I don't have homework. Of course, there is some homework to be done - my next project for TV Production is due a week from today, and I have a big paper for African American Images due a week from Friday. But, since it's only Tuesday, I'm not worrying just yet.

Unfortunately, my Britney Spears concert for March 26th got postponed...however, I'm just relieved it isn't cancelled. And now, I don't have to skip my music class in order to go - I really didn't want to skip at all, but it's Britney, so I'll do whatever it takes to see her. Also, it's on May 3rd, and my birthday is just four days later, what an awesome gift! It's also the end of Spring Weekend at UNH, so I'm sure it will make it even better. I didn't get to attend Spring Weekend last year because I went to the Bamboozle Music Festival in New Jersey. I've gone the last two years and I'm definitely going to miss it but I heard Spring Weekend is a blast.

Tonight I'm cooking dinner at home and then going to SCSU to see my boyfriend, since their break isn't until next week. Tomorrow I'm working on my TV project and Thursday my mom is taking me to NYC. Saturday I'm having lunch and seeing a show with my family, and Sunday is back to school! Enjoy the rest of your week!
