I love this University to death, but I must say I am ready for Spring Break. This semester I am taking some harder classes than last semester, and these last two weeks have been rough. A lot of class work, homework, and all sorts of running around crazy. But I love it. At the time I may scream all sorts of profanities, but I enjoy staying busy and always having something to do. It may not be “the fast lane,” but it is my fast lane. So after all that running around, I am looking forward to sitting back and enjoying a little down time, and spending some time with people I haven’t seen in months.
I think the person I want to see the most is my Grandmother. She hasn’t been doing too well, and I know seeing me might make her feel a little better. Being away from home for so long, and in a sense “leaving the nest,” has been a big change for me. I miss my relatives dearly, and it is going to be nice to spend a week with them.
So here is to a nice, relaxing and restful Spring Break. After this it is a dead sprint to Summer!!!
