A Fun Filled Day

Yay it's Wednesday. Nothing interesting on Tuesday except for a barrage of classes (5 on that day, 1 is a lab) and me waiting for a free self-chosen-lettering-airbrushed trucker hat for a loong time. Good thing about that event though and many events on campus, their too popular. 120 hats available, a 4 hour event, and everything were gone in the first hour. But at least I got one with 732 (Jersey Represeent!)

Well this morning, I tried to wake up for calc and it was quite entertaining, I fell back asleep. But I managed to wake up close to in time anyway. So I ran off for calc as quickly as humanely possible. What we did today was basically homework and more going over stuff such as maxima and minima. It was nice, interesting, but I didn't like it. I wanted derivatives man, just right when I got good, they throw me another topic. But at least I handed in homework, ahh accomplishment.

Then I was free for the day till lab, sooo I ate breakfast (Gotta have my Pops and Low fat milk),then played some video games (Brawl and Soul Calibur, I got the Wii in my common room), was in the middle of a discussion with my suitemates all about how I beat every single one of them in Facebook Tetris and right when they get close to my score, I somehow go higher or faster time. Before I knew it it was lab time.

Now, the beginning lab quiz was a fail because I wasn't good with diagrams and I got the places of the items completely wrong or next to it, but not it. Either way, lab was to dissect a fetal pig, and to learn about the reproductive system. So my group had a male pig and it was 2 girls and 2 guys in my group, and of course they make the 2 guys do the dissection after one of them was disgusted by it and lazy from already dissecting a good amount and another one was the lab book person (my lab book too!). Either way, we had to identify all the organs and such and we had to like break the poor fetal pig's pelvis and such to see more of its reproductive system. It was quite an experience, I had to say.

So I was free the rest of the day, no clubs Wednesday this semester, so I was free to do lots of pre-spring-break work. So I got done a lot of my English, biology, chemistry and math so I wouldn't have to do a ridiculous amount either on or after spring break. Then it was dinner time and Bartels didn't have anything interesting, soo I got a bowl from Sandellas with noodles, now that tasted good. Maybe too good…

Then it was 8pm and it was time for upper classmen dorm room tours, a fun little thing where freshman can actually see the buildings they may want to be in the next year or much later on. So I got to tour Winchester, Dunham, Forest Hills and Sheffield. I looked at the apartments and I was impressed. The space is good and for some of the apartments convenient for stuff I may have wanted to bring here but didn't for space issues. The only issues I can see with any of these apartments is how far it is from the classes and how there is no janitor service and a bathroom resembling a 'public bathroom' so we have to fight for the sink and showers in the morning. All in all it’s still great, and I want my car here now lol so I can get around campus from the apartments without walking.

Then after our tours, I went to AFC, Ambassadors for Christ, or the Christian group here at UNH. When I walked in, they were in the middle of worship singing, then we had a testimony by one of the girls about her very crazy past that was bettered by her faith and a sermon by 2 people about 'godly women'. It was really good, as usual. We had some guests, they were the people of a New Haven Church and these guys stand in the green everyday, evangelizing. They performed an original rap composition about god which was really really good with some nice Jamaican origins.

Afterwards it was the ice cream social at PIRO, which is the Paranormal Club and/or our 'ghost hunters'. Nothing paranormal tonight or anything related, it was a break from all that, so we all ate ice cream and chilled. I got my picture taken for our March Manhunt event in which I am one of many people to hide and teams would have to find me, beat my challenge and get my item for points at the end for prizes. It was a nice meeting and it was quite relaxing.

Then I decided to take a break from the gym and went to sleep after hanging out with my suitemates in the common room and walking with them to Sandellas for that late night snack. What a nice day.
