Hello!!! My name is Shawn and I am excited to be a Charger Blogger!
I am currently a sophomore here at UNH, and I am studying Music Sound Recording and Business! I am one of many very active students on campus. I am a Resident Assistant (RA) for Dunham Hall (and upper- classmen resident hall) and I love it! I also work for the office of Student Activities; if you have been on a tour through Bartels (the student center) than you may have seen me working at the info desk. There are many activities that I enjoy here at UNH. For example, I am a big fan of using the Beckerman Recreational Center to unwind (especially during test time), and grab a smoothie to go. I attend a lot of SCOPE sponsored events too. SCOPE (student committee of planning events) plans trips off campus, bring comedians to campus, and host one of my favorite events, Bean house. Once a month SCOPE hosts a bean house in the student center which gives students and faculty the time and place to show UNH what they got! People bring all times of cool things to bean house; some people sing, some recite poetry, some do a comedic gig, and some just tell stories… It is always a good time (just bring friends)!
I will be brief today, and just end now by saying that UNH is an awesome school with a lot of great opportunities. I hope it turns out to be the school for you!
