Happy National Tutor Appreciation Week 2012!
Our theme this year is "How Sweet It Is To Be Tutored By You..."
Please sto by the Center for Learning Resources, located in the lower level of the Marvin K. Peterson Library, to help us celebrate.
Wednesday, October 3rd 11:00 AM-6:30 PM
Thursday, October 4th 2:00-8:00 PM
There will be cake, a chocolate fountain and fondue, fruits and vegetables, punch, bottles of water, and other tasty treats.
You can play our "Sweets and Sweet Tutoring" trivia game, take a photo or two of yourself and your favorite tutor(s) and/or friends, write a "thank you" note to a tutor who's helped you this year (or in ones prior), and just learn more about the CLR and what we do here. Please also check our our homemade (care of Rob Harvey) video rendition of "How Sweet It Is To Be Tutored [Loved] by You" and see how many familiar faces you can spot.
Whether or not you can join us, we hope that you will take a moment this week to let any of the CLR tutors, LLC tutors, CAS tutors, Athletics tutors, and APMs with whom you work know if they have touched your life in a positive way.
