Welcome to the CLR!
The Center For Learning Resources (CLR) at UNH is a place where students can find extra support with writing assignments, as well as help with freshman and sophomore level core-courses in math, science and business. We provide free tutoring and writing skills assistance to help students with good grades who want to do even better as well as those who are struggling and want to improve.
UNH was one of the first universities in the country to offer a staff consisting mainly of professional tutors, as well as some graduate and undergraduate students. The principle advantage of professional tutoring labs is that students receive focused tutoring tailored to their specific needs. Our professional staff is composed of experienced instructors who hold advanced degrees in their respective fields. Many are instructors at UNH; thus, they bring an intimate understanding of the classroom to each session. Our highly competent graduate and undergraduate student tutors are chosen based on the enthusiastic recommendations of their professors.
The CLR is located in the heart of the campus in Maxcy Hall rooms 106-110. It is comprised of three labs: the Mathematics lab, the Science and Business lab, the Writing lab, and the computer lab.
