Leaders and their behavior as it pertains to the role of the leader within the organization are the focus for this participatory course. Theory and current research regarding leadership are discussed as well as the prerequisites, knowledge, and practices required for successful leadership. Student participation will be enhanced through use of videotape, role playing, writing activities, and presentations. 3 credit hours.

BA 500 Experiential Learning Capstone (back to previous page)
This class ensures the student completion of experiential learning components for College of Business programs. By the end of the course, students must have completed (a) sixteen (16) points of activities from the College of Business Professional Enrichment Program during their tenure at the University of New Haven, and successfully completed either (i) a three (3) credit internship in the major field of study; (ii) a three (3) credit practicum in the major field of study, or (iii) one semester of study abroad (outside the U.S.) including the successful completion of at least six (6) credits hours of business courses that are transferable into the major program of study. No credit.
