Student Health Insurance
All University of New Haven full-time undergraduate and international graduate students are required to have health insurance and are automatically billed for the cost of the student health insurance plan through the University. The plan is administered by UnitedHealthcare.
The waiver deadline for the 2017-2018 academic year expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 1, 2017. You are no longer able to submit a waiver and will be added to the University sponsored student health insurance plan for the policy year that runs from August 1, 2017 to July 31,2018.
The University sponsored student health insurance plan is mandatory for all full-time international students.
If a waiver is not received by September 1, the student will be automatically enrolled in the University health insurance plan and will be responsible for paying the $1,350 plan premium directly to the University of New Haven.
