Michael Fedele Michael Fedele

Michael Fedele is the founder and CEO of Stamford-based Pinnacle Group, a national information technology firm. Previously, he served as the lieutenant governor of Connecticut from 2007 to 2011.


    Fedele has been the president and CEO of the Pinnace Group since 1987. He served as the lieutenant governor of Connecticut from 2007 to 2011. He was a candidate for Governor in Connecticut in 2010 and a candidate from the U.S. Senate in 2012.

    Fedele started his public service as a member of Stamford's Board of Representatives, serving the city's 13th District from 1987 to 1991. He also represented Stamford's 147th District in the Connecticut House of Representatives from 1992 until 2002, where he held a number of leadership posts, including ranking member of the Legislature’s Insurance and Real Estate Committee and assistant House minority leader.

    Community Service

    He is a member of the Board of Directors of Stamford Hospital and a former Board member of the Yerwood Center, the Stamford Education Foundation and CTE, a community action agency that addresses the causes of poverty in the Stamford, Darien and Greenwich communities.

    In 2009 he was awarded the Prescott Bush Award, the highest honor the Connecticut Republican Party awards to a member of the party. He also was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year Award by Boy's Town of Italy.


    Mr. Fedele earned an associate degree from Norwalk State Technical College and a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University.


    Born in Minturno, Italy, he has lived most of his life in Stamford, Conn., where he currently lives with his wife, Carol.
