Clerical Staff Openings

We are accepting applications for possible future clerical openings.  Our clerical staff works in various offices including academic, administrative and business departments.  All clerical staff positions require excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy office environment. A working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel are a must.  Competitive starting hourly rates for a 35 hour work week.

COURTESY VAN DRIVERS

The University of New Haven has eight part-time positions for Courtesy Van drivers.  The positions have various working schedules from 12 to 20 hours per week, some with night and weekend hour requirements. The drivers will transport college students between the main campus and off campus housing as well as other campus and off campus destinations as required.  The drivers will be required to work only during the academic period (late August through mid December and late January through late May).The van will be a seven passenger (including the driver) Nissan Quest.  No special license is required. 

 

The successful candidates must have a valid Connecticut driver's license and a good driving record.  Candidates must also have a clean criminal record and pass a drug test.  Candidates must be available and willing to work extra shifts as needed.  Positions start the week beginning Sunday, August 24, 2008.  Starting salary is $11/hr.
