Mr. Falconi joined GE's housewares and audio business in 1979, where he completed GE's financial management program. He spent the next five years as a member of GE's corporate audit staff before moving on to key positions at several GE businesses. In 1988, he moved to GE Medical Systems, where he held management positions in mid-field magnetic resonance, production scheduling and service marketing and served as CFO before being named general manager of GE Medical Systems' Global X-ray Business.
In 1996 he moved to GE Aviation, where he led both the finance and information technology functions until being named CFO of GE Technology Infrastructure in 2005. He also served on GE's Corporate Executive Council.
