I am a Differential Geometer and General Relativist. Currently, my research focusses on (i) Riemannian Geometry of Complex and Contact Spaces, and (ii) Cosmological Models and Solutions of Einstein’s Field Equations with or without Symmetries. Aside from the core research, I am also keenly interested in the current issues in Cosmology, such as Dark Energy and Dark Matter. I have been involving senior undergraduate students in relevant Mathematical Projects. I am a co-author of a research monograph published by Springer-Verlag, and co-editor of a proceedings volume published by American Mathematical Society. In addition, I have published over 80 articles in refereed reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings. I have also delivered more than 50 talks at national and international conferences and workshops. Furthermore, I have chaired and served on the scientific advisory committees of several national and international conferences and workshops.

I was a Fulbright Lecturer at Sri Sathya Sai University (India) during 2005. I love teaching traditional mathematics courses with immense enthusiasm, and seek excellence in teaching by presenting the seemingly dull mathematical notions in interesting and appealing manners.
