    Jason C. Patalinghug received a B.S. from the University of the Philippines Diliman, a Master in Applied Economics from De La Salle University Manila as well as an M.A., a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems, and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut.  In addition to the University of New Haven, he has taught at the University of Hartford and Wesleyan University.  He has taught courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, behavioral economics, environmental economics, research methods, sustainable development, market structure, business ethics, and international business.  Dr. Patalinghug has worked as a consultant for The World Bank and has worked as a researcher for the University of Connecticut, the Asian Institute of Management, the Philippine Institute for Development Studies, and PA Consulting Group.  

    Dr. Patalinghug has presented his research at conferences organized by the Eastern Economic Association, the Midwest Economics Association, the Academy of Economics and Finance, the Southwestern Society of Economists, and the University of Connecticut.  His work has been published in the Forum for Social Economics and the Pennsylvania Review of Economics among others.  Dr. Patalinghug is a member of the American Economic Association.
