About Me

As a finance professor, teaching students to be proficient with finance in the dynamic real world is one of the most important and challenging tasks for me. My continuous research on corporate debt, financial crisis, merger and acquisition and financial effect along supply chain not only leads to the publications in various conference proceedings and two peer-review journals, but also enables me keep current with the development of finance. I integrate my research with the real-world case studies and co-teaching with veteran CFO Erika Steiner in the MBA core course. The students have given very positive feedback. In addition, my research on international finance adds a global perspective in every course I teach. For example, sharing my research in financial crisis and the market efficiency in the Chinese equity markets broadens the students’ view in the interconnection of global economy.
