Daniele has been with University of New Haven for 3 years teaching Sanitation, Safety and Procurement as an adjunct faculty member. She has been working as a dietitian for Bon Appétit Management Company for almost 7 years and recently transitioned into the role of East Coast Regional Manager of Nutrition.
She received her A.S. degree in Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University (JWU) in Charleston, South Carolina followed by her B.S. degree in Culinary Nutrition at JWU in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to becoming a dietitian she worked as a line cook for a private golf club, specializing in spa cuisine. She completed her dietetic internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) and worked as a clinical dietitian for four years, specializing in surgical oncology, transplant and general medicine. In addition, she worked alongside YNHH executive chef in culinary competitions, recipe development and training dietetic interns. She completed her M.S in Nutrition at University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT and her certificate of training in Adult Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Over the years her passion for food and nutrition has developed and paved her career path.
