    Dr. Faisal Aqlan started teaching at the University of New Haven in January 2014 as a Practitioner in Residence (PIR) in Industrial and System Engineering, Tagliatela College of Engineering (TCoE). He earned the BS and MS in Industrial Engineering form Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2007 and 2010, respectively and the PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2013. He has worked on lean, simulation modeling, and supply chain innovation projects with Innovation Associates Company and IBM Corporation. Dr. Aqlan’s research has resulted in both business value and intellectual property. He has published several papers in reputed journals and conferences.

    Dr. Aqlan’s research interests include simulation modeling of production systems and business operations, statistical methods and lean /six sigma, ergonomics and digital human modeling, healthcare systems, and supply chain management.
