ChargerREC is proud to host several special events each semester that go above and beyond our regularly scheduled programming.
Past events include our inaugural Turkey Trot, Zumba Your Heart Out, and the annual Get Fit Charger Challenge.
Many of our special events are fundraisers for various charities such as:
- The TeamREC Scholarship Fund
- West Haven Emergency Assistance Taskforce
- Susan G. Komen Fund for a Cure
- American Heart Association
Some of our special events are organized to simply provide services that encourage participants to expand their exercise, wellness, competition, and social horizons.
All of our Special Events have purpose and meaning, and stem from the mission of ChargerREC.
