The mechanical engineering full-time faculty members all hold Ph.D. degrees, and strive to give students the benefit of their extensive professional experience in the field.
Awards & Recognition
- Our bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is fully accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.
- Organizations that involve student participation are a key component in creating a link between the university and the outside community. At UNH, those related to mechanical engineering include ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and Pi Tau Sigma Honor Society.
- The awards are given annually to graduating mechanical engineering seniors: one for outstanding academic performance and one for service to the department.
