Labor specialists project continued growth in employment for electrical engineering graduates. Starting salaries for bachelor's degree graduates were about $54,000 in the year 2006. Graduates of the program in electrical engineering have secured full-time positions with a wide variety of local and regional companies, including Hewlett Packard, Pitney Bowes, Perkin-Elmer, Electric Boat, Trans Data, IBM, AT&T, United Illuminating, and the Department of Defense.

Graduate School

Electrical engineering students are encouraged to continue their education upon earning a bachelor's degree.  Students have the opportunity to enter the "seamless master's program" in electrical engineering at UNH, or they may go on to graduate study at other prestigious schools such as Yale, Clarkson University, MIT, Polytechnic University, and Ohio State University.
