The College of Business at the University of New Haven (UNH) prides itself on an innovative approach to business education at all levels of instruction: undergraduate degree programs, a vibrant on-campus MBA, accelerated off-campus MBA programs for emerging leaders, an Executive MBA program that recently celebrated thirty years of success, and specialized Masters programs in Taxation, Management of Sports Industries, and several other areas. Of exceptional note is the focus that the College places on experiential learning, with a philosophy that combines functional and integrative classroom theory with opportunities to engage in the "real world" of business, whether that engagement takes place next door, on Wall Street, across the globe, or in all of these venues. UNH provides students with unique opportunities to learn from the highest quality faculty, drawn from diverse backgrounds and experience, in small classes designed with students and their career and personal aspirations in mind. Advanced facilities, such as the Bergami Learning Center for Finance and Technology and the Student Enrichment Center, enable the College to afford students perspectives normally only gained through post-degree work experience. The Bergami Center in particular enables students to engage in the same kinds of transactions and analysis that they will encounter in virtually all careers associated with the business world. Students report that the skills they develop through access to and familiarity with the analytical and other tools available through the Bergami Center give them significant advantages in their career search and advancement. The Student Enrichment Center provides a venue for the College's Professional Enrichment Program - a rich series of short seminars on practical business skills ranging from Résumé Writing to the Etiquette required at a business luncheon in China. The College's undergraduate curriculum was recently revised to provide more practical insights into the integrative nature of business through specific experiential learning requirements for practical consulting, international study or internships. Our programs enable students to learn all they need to about business and about themselves as leaders. The College fully embraces the experiential learning initiatives that are the core of the university's strengths and are such a critical basis for business success. We are already working on the next stages in our growth toward full recognition as a national leader in the provision of business education. In doing this we are developing our students into success stories who also recognize their responsibilities as both corporate and civic citizens. It is an exciting time to be a student in the College of Business at the University of New Haven. We look forward to seeing you on campus!
