Dr. Richard H. Ward serves as dean of the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences. Dr. Ward received his undergraduate education at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and his graduate education at the University of California–Berkeley.
Dean Ward is responsible for the on-line program in information protection and security at the University of New Haven. Dr.Ward serves as a member of the FBI InfraGard program and is a member of the Electronic Crime Task Force, New York Field Office, U.S. Secret Service.
Dr. Ward was previously associate vice president for Research and Special Programs for two years as well as dean and director at the Criminal Justice Center for seven years, both at Sam Houston State University. Prior to Sam Houston State University, for sixteen years he was vice chancellor for administration at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Before that he served from 1971-1977 as vice president and dean of graduate studies at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
The office of the dean of the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences is located on the first floor of South Campus Hall in Suite 100.
