Tagliatela College of Engineering

The Tagliatela College of Engineering has broken the typical academic mold in its quest to prepare engineers for the year 2020 and beyond. The practice of engineering has changed dramatically over the past decade, and will continue to evolve over the coming years.

Our innovative undergraduate and graduate programs reflect this paradigm shift through our innovative approach and breadth of scope, preparing you for the twenty-first century workplace.

Additionally, the Robert E. Alvine Engineering Professional Effectiveness and Enrichment Program brings speakers to campus each year to impart professional insights and advice to the next generation of engineers.

In 2005, UNH and Tagliatela College of Engineering pioneered an Engineering Living/Learning Community program in which a group of engineering students chose to live together in Botwinik Hall. The students shared core engineering courses, enjoyed regular visits by faculty and staff, had access to tutoring by fellow engineering students, and took monthly field trips. The students' high combined grade point average (3.2) confirmed the great success of the program.
