Sport/Hospitality and Tourism Management

The Sports Management/Hospitality and Tourism Management Department at the University of New Haven features two of the marquee programs in the College of Business. Staffed by dedicated and passionate faculty members, the management of sports industries program and the hospitality and tourism management programs have been leaders on campus, in the community, and across the nation for many years. While there are some common features to almost every department, our department is unique for the following reasons:

• We take students across the country for professional and educational events.
• We supplement our full-time faculty with well-trained industry professionals to teach key classes.
• We have our own centers of excellence including the Hazell Center and the Sports Management Institute.
• We have a strong base of alumni who are active with our students.
• We offer several student-professional associations.
• Our students are recognized nationally for their professionalism, communication skills, and leadership qualities.
• We have a strong experiential education program offering various certifications and educational enhancements.
