The College of Business and the Institute for Sports Management invite you to join Howard Saffan, President of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, as he discusses the development of the Sound Tigers. Since 1999, he has owned and operated Shelton-based SportsCenter of Connecticut, which features the world's only double-decker hockey rink. Mr. Saffan also has served since 1997 as president of Bishop Design and Development, a Weston-based real estate development company.    

Exploring Career Opportunities in Professional Sports

David Schreff, former NBA President of Marketing and current UNH Executive in Residence, will discuss strategies for career success. Mr. Schreff will discuss interviewing skills, how to do a job search, and will carry our several mock interviews during class.   

UNH Night with the Bridgeport Soundtigers
Sun., 3/30  4:00 PM - 8:00 PM  Arena at Harbor Yard

A team of UNH Sports Management majors will work with the Soundtigers in a practicum in which they will be totally in charge of marketing and promotions for a Bridgeport Soundtigers game. This event will be open to UNH alumni, students, faculty, staff, and others related to the university. 

2nd Annual Defend Against Cancer 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to Support the V Foundation 
Fri., 4/18  1:00 PM - 5:30 PM  Beckerman Recreation Center

Interested in having a blast, well on Friday April 18^th join Shooting Star entertainment for a 3 on 3 bracket style basketball tournament to help raise money for the Jimmy V Foundation. Lace up those sneakers and enjoy the hottest event on campus. The tournament will have non stop action with multiple prizes, food, and music creating an electric atmosphere. You may even have a chance to win a Zach Randolph signed New York Knicks jersey or a Nate Robinson signed basketball!
