UNH Chapter
Purpose
Familiarize members with basic aspects of the meetings and conventions field through educational and networking opportunities.
Membership
- Open, without discrimination, to any full-time UNH student in good standing who is interested in pursuing a career in or learning more about the event planning field.
- Membership dues are $60 per academic year, paid by last day of September, of which $40 goes toward national dues and $20 goes toward the chapter.

- Over 15 scholarships offered to PCMA student members annually.
- Access to the PCMA membership directory of over 5,000 members.
- Job opportunities and internships specifically for student members.

- Sixteen regional chapters; student members are encouraged to become involved at the local level.

UNH Hospitality Student
Purpose
The National Society of Minorities in Hospitality, as a national student and professional-based organization, does herby dedicate itself to the development of intensive programs for increasing ethnic minority participation in the field of hospitality management. These programs will be initiated both within and outside the University community. It will also serve to strengthen relations between the professional industry and the minority community.
Membership
- Membership shall be open to any student enrolled in an accredited, two-year or four-year educational institution or program that offers a degree in the field of hospitality or business.
- The National Executive Board must approve any non-hospitality individuals.
- Minority status is not a requirement for membership.
- Active membership of NSMH is defined as a member who has participated in 25 percent of activities and has attended 25 percent of meetings.
- Membership dues fore UNH students shall be $15 per semester to be paid by the first meeting of each semester. Of these dues, $10.00 will go toward national dues, while $5.00 goes to the chapter fund. A $5 surcharge will be applied to non-UNH students and/or faculty.
