The Hazell Center for Hospitality Sales & Event Management in the School of Business at the University of New Haven will be established as a leader among entities attending to the sales and delivery of hospitality and event services in a global marketplace.
Mission
To foster the understanding of the dynamics between hospitality sales and event management in the context of professional sales, consumer behavior, and service excellence in the global hospitality and event industry.
Objectives
The mission statement will be operationalized through goals and objectives that attend to excellence of achievement following Dean Boronico's Six-Point Plan. The Six-Point Plan will form a basis of development that reflects best practice; and will provide a framework from which Center activities can be coordinated and an action plan formulated.
