| This certificate prepares individuals for the responsibilities of protecting their agency or corporate information systems. The program covers the basics of information systems security as well as legal issues and cyber-response strategies. Computer gaming simulations as well as online attack and defense techniques are used for student assignments. A selection of these certificate courses is offered online, with instruction delivered over the Internet. Appropriate computer competency is assumed as prerequisite to these courses. |
