Published Books and Articles

Professor Cohen has published over 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts in subjects such as diesel exposure among workers, exposures of workers to metalworking fluid, and the performance of respiratory protective equipment.  In addition, Professor Cohen has co-authored several books on industrial hygiene and two recent publications for the National Academies of Science on pandemic influenza. 

Other

Professor Cohen serves on a number of taskforces for the Institute of Medicine and is former editor in chief of the American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal. He is currently an editorial board member of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene. In addition, Professor Cohen is a recipient of a number of national awards in industrial hygiene including the 2007 Cummings Memorial Award given for outstanding contributions to the advancement of industrial hygiene.
