Awards and Recognition

  • This program has been awarded Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
  • Students who earn the B.S. degree in nutrition and dietetics may apply for membership in the ADA and are eligible to apply for Dietetic Internships offered in health care settings, universities, corporate food services, public health departments, and the armed services throughout the country.
  • Completion of an internship enables graduates to take the exam to become a registered dietitian.
