Graduates of the UNH dental hygiene program pursue careers in private practice, public health care, education, research, sales and marketing, and health care management. UNH graduates have been successful in pursuing careers in various areas of interest, such as
- treating and educating patients in a private-practice setting.
- working as team players in delivering dental hygiene services in community health centers.
- teaching in institutions of higher education
- working in pharmaceutical sales.
Graduate School
Frequently, students who earn bachelor’s degrees in dental hygiene continue their education on the graduate level, either at UNH or elsewhere.
