Faculty and Resources

The English faculty is a diverse group of faculty who share a devotion to their academic discipline and their students. The specializations of the English faculty vary, including American humor, contemporary fiction, creative writing, film, poetry, African-American literature, women’s studies, gay studies, public speaking, Shakespeare, the Victorian novel, writing for business and industry, and popular American culture.

Awards and Recognition

The English Department houses the Elm City Review, an annual literary magazine of student writing edited and published by student members of the campus Literary Club, working in conjunction with a faculty adviser.
