She speaks Spanish fluently. Her private practice concentrated on nutrition consulting to several Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, medical oncology centers, and community health programs. She was the Coordinator for a $500,000 USDA grant to the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Her nutrition initiatives in the wellness programs of corporations were recognized with the C.
