Dr. Maryam Vulis started teaching at UNH in the fall semester of 2007. She started teaching while still in college, and enjoys working with the students. Over the years, Dr. Vulis taught courses in Mathematics and Computer Science. Dr. Vulis especially likes teaching prospective teachers. She also enjoys developing new teaching techniques in liberal arts mathematics course Dr. Vulis frequently gives presentations about her research at regional, national, and international conferences. Her current research interests include history of mathematics (especially cryptography) and applying technology to teaching mathematics.

In addition to teaching math, Dr. Vulis enjoys reading true crime books, travel, chess, gymnastics, photography, and collecting cook books.
