| Dr. Lawrence J. DeNardis is former President of the University of New Haven (1991-2004) and currently Distinguished Professor of Political Science. He teaches in the Graduate Program in National Security. He is also the Chairman of the Institute for New Democracies in Washington, D. C. and has traveled widely on assignment for the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Agency on International Development in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and South America. Dr. DeNardis is a former U. S. Congressman and Naval Officer. He holds a PhD degree in Political Science from New York University and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Holy Cross College. He is the author of many articles on international affairs, government and higher education. |
