Editorship: Scorer: Other Since 1 August 2009, I have been a full-time Associate Professor of History teaching primarily European history or courses in western civilization. I have taught in the Freshman Honors program and in the Spring 2011 I taught a new honors course HS 382: Iberian Culture with Music Professor, José Garcia-León. The main focus of my current research is on María de Molina, queen and regent of the Kingdom of Castile-León (1284-1321), and her struggles to maintain the throne for her son, Fernando IV and her grandson, Alfonso XI. The culmination of my research and writing will be a biography of her. Presently I am also serving on the University College Committee and am a member of the search committee for the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. |
