College Student Resources

The University of New Haven and the College of Arts and Sciences offer a number of resources to aid students academically and to provide for the most enriching college experience possible. Academic resources like the Tutoring Centers and Experiential Learning Department ensure that students obtain the necessary assistance with their academics. Additionally, each student is assigned an academic adviser who is a full-time faculty member in the student's major field of study.

The College of Arts and Sciences supports concerts and dances for students to enjoy. Dormitories and on-campus apartments are designed to facilitate social interaction as well as to accommodate academic needs. The Beckerman Student Recreation Center recently opened and offers University of New Haven students a state-of-the-art facility in which to exercise and congregate.
