The Human Resource Association of Greater New Haven is the Student Chapter's link to local Human Resource Professionals. The HRA allows Student Chapter members to attend monthly topic dinners, conferences, and gives students the opportunity to obtain valuable networking. In return for these services, the Student Chapter assists the HRA membership in various ways, including mailing and coordinating PHR study sessions.

  The mission of the Association for Training and Development (ASTD), Southern Connecticut Chapter is to provide a local forum in which learning and development professionals within the Southern Connecticut region can enhance their knowledge of the learning and development field, share best practices, and build relationships with colleagues. The ASTD, Southern Connecticut Chapter provides the Student Chapter with a forum for networking opportunities, stimulating programs, sharing best practice information, workshops for professional development and exploring regional performance and training issues

PULSE is the GNHCC's group for local young professionals (ages 21-40). The group is made up of 200+ young people representing a variety of industries and types of work. Our mission is to connect Greater New Haven's young professionals with each other and with the community through social and professional networking events, educational seminars and community service projects. Attracting and retaining young, energetic professionals is vital to the growth and success of New Haven. The Chamber is part of a coordinated effort to make New Haven a desirable place to live, work and play for everyone, including young professionals who represent our region’s current and future workforce
