UNH’s student chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) has received a Superior Merit Award for the 15th consecutive year. The award is based on the achievements and activities sponsored by the chapter during the last year.
The chapter has hosted speakers on topics related to social media networking, diversity, career options, change management and emotional intelligence. The group also participated in several community service projects.
The group also collaborated with the American Society for Training and Development and the Human Resources Association of Greater New Haven to create networking opportunities for UNH students.
“Winning this award demonstrates that the graduate students who are leading this chapter have done an amazing job of creating worthwhile programs for UNH students,” said Sidle.
