About

    Dr. Kirkor teaching philosophy is to make physics accessible, comprehensible, and useful to everyone. She is a physical chemist with experience in Industry and Academia. Her teaching experience comes from many schools: teaching full range of introductory courses in Physics at University of New Haven, supervising undergraduate research at U. of Utah, Salt Lake City, supervising post-doctoral training at U. Texas at Austin, and Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and also teaching and co-developing courses: Analytical Chemistry Laboratory and Analytical Methods of Bioinformation.

    Dr. Kirkor's industrial experience ranges from polymer R&D and technical supervision of Nylon manufacturing at Du Pont, through small business development at Analytical of Branford (noise reduction in mass spectrometry) and since 2005 her own company, Anchor Science (Thermal Management Materials).
