Study Abroad

This experience was so much more than the traversing of four continents, three oceans, eleven countries, and more than 34,000 miles. It was about the human spirit working together to achieve a higher understanding of our world community. It transcended language barriers, broke down cultural stereotypes, and unified us in a bond of humanity. This experience has not only been life-changing, it has given me confidence in my independence, in my ability to make choices, and in my overwhelming desire to make a difference. After my "voyage of discovery," I have begun to explore some very difficult questions about our world and about my capabilities. While I am still searching for answers, I am very thankful for my experience and for the people who have forever changed my life.
