MVUNH is a Student Group formed to both support current UNH Veteran student and encourage a UNH "Veteran friendly" campus to attract new Veteran students. Our purpose is to create a community of veterans who will use their knowledge and experiences to educate the university community and advocate on behalf of student veterans. We meet once a month to discuss current events and and provide new information. This is a great opportunity to meet other UNH veteran students, and support each other to take part in "change".

Mission Statement
It shall be the purpose of the MVUNH to create a community of veterans who will use their knowledge and experiences to educate the university community and advocate on behalf of student veterans.

Goals
* To promote the communication and interaction among veterans to encourage veterans helping veterans
* Develop a resource guide of forms, documents, lists of service organizations and contact information useful for veterans, prospective veterans and their families
* To sponsor social events and networking opportunities that include family, loved ones, and veteran supporters
* Sponsor organizational events that aid in the recognition of student veterans
* Work with the university administration to meet the needs of student veterans and prospective student veterans
* Attend/participate in campus and local military recognition events and programs (Veterans Day, Memorial Day, etc) -
