Professor Sherman spent 30 years in the Business Community where he served as a Vice-President of the Greater Colonie, NY Chamber of Commerce as well the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.  He founded the Stratford Chamber of Commerce and ended his career in the Chamber of Commerce Industry as President of the Stamford, CT Chamber of Commerce.  He served as President of the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.  He is currently the Chairman of the Economic Development Commission in the Town of Stratford CT.

Sherman has a special interest in using the new technologies as educational tools.
