Ticketing and Appeals

Ticketing

The University's ticketing policy is as follows:

All students, faculty, staff and visitors are responsible for each vehicle they operate or park, or cause to be operated or parked on campus.  Every vehicle must display a valid UNH parking permit.  Vehicles which present a hazard, are parked in Tow Zones, Fire Lanes, blocking sidewalks, crosswalks, dumpsters or are parked in a Handicap space without displaying government issued authorization are subject to immediate towing at the owner's expense.  A vehicle which accrues three parking tickets will be considered a chronic offender and will be ticketed and towed for every subsequent violation.

 
Faculty/Staff Payment

Tickets are to be paid via credit card in the AIMS parking software (http://unhparking.newhaven.edu/login.php).  To pay your ticket visit the UNH Parking Website and login with your UNH network username and password.

Student Payment

Tickets are to be paid to the University Bursar's Office.  You may pay your ticket through the ePay online system by logging into Matrix Self Service (https://matrix-sws.newhaven.edu/student ) and clicking on the ePay link in the menu.  Your ticket charge will show up in your existing balance in ePay, and will also be present on your bill.  Tickets may also be paid in person at the Bursar's office (Room 109 Maxcy Hall) or by mail to the following address:

Appeal Process

Tickets may be appealed within 14 calendar days of issue.  Faculty, Staff and Students can appeal their ticket via the AIMS parking software.  (http://unhparking.newhaven.edu/login.php)  When it is available, you will log into an online form to fill out an appeal.
