Format
The Master of Science in Labor Relations Saturday program has been designed for the public/non-profit and private/profit service aspiring or current professional who works closely with organization personnel and focuses on the employment relationship and as a field, attempts to maintain harmony and resolve conflicts among the four major parties to the employment relationship: employees, employers, government and, where applicable, unions. Students have the option to follow a set schedule and meet one day a week for five weeks per course enabling them to complete the degree in 14 months, or the flexibility to mix Saturday courses with traditional trimester coursework. This format helps the professional balance graduate school with the demands of family, work, and other responsibilities. Students who complete the Saturday curriculum also receive a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management.
Schedule
Classes meet weekly on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are held in West Haven, CT. There are no classes scheduled on major holiday weekends or during the month of August.
