University of New Haven alumna Constance Dinkel B.S ‘03, M.S '05, has been named the 2009 Henry C. Lee Fellow. She received her award from Richard Ward, dean of the Henry C. Lee College, on Friday, April 24, 2009, Bartels Hall, the campus center. Following the presentation, Dinkel discussed how her experiences as a student at the University of New Haven prepared her for her professional life.
The Henry C. Lee Fellow is selected by faculty members of the Henry C. Lee College, named for the world's foremost forensic scientist and criminalist who began the forensics program in 1975. Recipients must have held at least a 3.2 GPA and been heavily involved on the UNH campus, and currently hold a successful post-graduate professional position. Dinkel has been a criminalist with the New York Police Department Forensic Science Laboratory since 2004.
