University ceremonies are celebrations of the life of the University, and keep ceremonial traditions alive in the modern academic institution. Faculty play an important role in these ceremonies. We appreciate the time you are taking to participate.
Academic Regalia
- Faculy who plan to participate in the Winter Commencement ceremony on Saturday, January 19, 2013 must wear appropriate academic regalia

- The deadline for faculty to respond to participate in the ceremony was Wednesday, October 31, 2012
|
- Academic regalia must be ordered by November 14, 2012 - No late responses will be honored once the order has been placed
|
- Regalia will be distributed and collected by the Campus Store for those who ordered in advance
|
- The Winter Commencement ceremony will take place at the David A. Beckerman Recreation Center on Saturday, January 19, 2013
|
- Faculty participating in the ceremony are asked to arrive by 1:30 p.m. and line-up in the Bergami Family Fitness Center, located on the first floor of the Recreation Center
|
- The procession will begin at 1:45 p.m.
|
- The ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. and last approximately 2 hours
|
|

- Faculty who are not participating in the Winter Commencement ceremony, but would like to attend are encouraged to volunteer for another role by signing-up at www.newhaven.edu/commencementvolunteers
