Fraternities
Delta Chi - The New Haven chapter was founded on October 17, 1981. The brotherhood is very active with continuing their education, participating in intramurals, and hosting community service events. deltachi@newhaven.edu
Kappa Gamma Rho - The brotherhood has been active since April 16, 1997. They promote goodwill in the surrounding community through community service, enhancing Greek and student activities on campus, and promoting equality, diversity, and unity through Greek life. kgr@newhaven.edu
Lambda Alpha Upsilon - We are a brotherhood of professional men working to promote the development of the Latino community. The Hermanos of LAU strive to become positive and productive role models within their universities, communities, and professions. LAU@newhaven.edu
Sigma Chi - Colonized on March 22, 2008, as Sigma Chi Lambda, the brothers focus on their ideals of friendship, learning, and justice. Membership in Sigma Chi involves all chapters working together to obtain a certain goal of service oriented activities. sigmachi@newhaven.edu

Alpha Kappa Alpha - Since 1908, the sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha has responded to the world’s increasing complexity. They continue to empower communities through exemplary service initiatives and progressive programs. aka@newhaven.edu
Chi Kappa Rho - Founded in 1963, XKP promotes friendship and a better understanding among the women at UNH through community service and social events. xkp@newhaven.edu
Delta Epsilon Beta - Gamma Chapter was founded on October 27, 1966 at Bloomsburg State College in Pennsylvania. The sororities’ main focus is on the needs of women and children. deb@newhaven.edu
Delta Phi Epsilon - We develop a social consciousness and a commitment to think and act for the greater good. They assure continuous development and achievement for women by embracing our founding principles of Justice, Sisterhood, and Love. dpe@newhaven.edu
Delta Sigma Theta - was founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two illustrious young women at Howard University. Delta's founders sought to establish an organization dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship and public service.
Phi Sigma Sigma - We are a dynamic sisterhood of powerful women fostering uncompromising principles, igniting positive change, and embracing individuality. Their mission is to inspire the personal development of each sister and perpetuate the advancement of womanhood. PhiSigmaSigma@newhaven.edu
Sigma Iota Alpha - This sorority is dedicated to educating the community about Latino culture, history, struggles and endeavors. The hope is to educate and unify not only the many diverse Latino cultures, but other ethnic groups as well.
