The West Haven Police Department responded to the Forest Hills Apartments at approx. 4:30 AM this morning (Saturday, August 2, 2008) on the report of an armed robbery.
Preliminary information indicates that a male subject, approx. 6' tall, thin build, possible Hispanic, confronted a non-student female and a non-student male while they were sitting outside, and displayed a sliver handgun. A cell phone and cash were taken from the female. There were no injuries. The suspect fled on foot.
The incident is under investigation by the West Haven Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call that Department at 937-3900 or the UNH Police Department at 932-7014.
