Q.:How does a Civil Engineer become licensed?

A.:Licensure consists of two major examinations the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and the Professional Engineering (PE exam)?


Q.:When are Civil Engineers eligible to take the licensing examinations?

A.:In Connecticut (may vary in other states), graduating senior status is minimally required for the FE exam, and a minimum of five years experience under a Professional Engineer is required for the PE exam.
